Clean Air Board Hosts Table at LeTort Environmental Fair

At the LeTort Environmental Fair, the Clean Air Board gave away prizes to participants who could correctly answer questions on air quality.  Airestotle – CAB’s portable air quality monitor – was on display.  Dozens of people stopped by to learn about air quality and participate in the quiz.

A tributary of the Conodoguinet Creek, well-known for its fly fishing, the LeTort was the reason why Carlisle was chosen as the county seat for Cumberland County.

For the third consecutive year, the borough on Saturday celebrated the history, as well as the future, of its prized natural resource by holding its annual LeTort Festival at Carlisle’s LeTort Park.
