Clearing the Air: Hearings Schedules on Proposed Idling Rules

Excerpt: “Comments are being sought by the state on a proposed regulation that would limit engine idling by trucks and commercial vehicles.
The state Environmental Quality Board will hold three hearings next month, including one in Harrisburg.
The regulation would require that diesel-powered commercial vehicles could idle for no more than five minutes in an hour.”
