Clean Air Board Community Forum – Thursday, Sept. 2, 7 pm

Proposed Clean Heat Legislation – When the Heat is On, Will We Benefit?

The Clean Air Board will host a community forum on legislation pending in Pennsylvania’s General Assembly to reduce the amount of sulfur to 15 parts per million and include a percentage of biofuels in heating oil (No. 2 fuel oil).  This legislation could almost eliminate sulfur dioxide (SO2) emissions from heating oil.

Joining us for this forum will be John Kulik (Pennsylvania Petroleum Marketers & Convenience Store Association), Arleen Shulman (DEP Bureau of Air Quality), and Mike Rader (PA Dept. of Agriculture).
