Current Conditions: High pressure over the Midwest will slowly creep eastward over the next 36 hours. Light wind flow around this high pressure area is causing fine particulate levels to go into the moderate zone. Ozone levels are reaching into the code ORANGE range as well. Tonight will turn out partly cloudy with temperatures falling back into the lower 60s. Fine particulate levels will remain in the moderate zone. *** Wednesday’s forecast: A light southwest flow will continue to bring very warm air into the region for the day Wednesday. Particulate matter will continue to hover in the moderate zone. With enough sunshine and heat, we could very well see ozone levels go into the code ORANGE range once more.
