CAB Policy on Development

CAB is committed to:

Open and transparent dialogue with the community, businesses and government;

Promoting measures to reduce emissions of harmful pollutants and to improve air quality in the community;

Commenting on proposals that have an effect on air quality and on the health of our community, including, but not limited to emissions, traffic, and congestion;

Working with individuals, businesses, organizations, and government to promote measures that will reduce harmful emissions and alleviate poor air quality;

Identifying best practices for responsible development, as described in the section on best practices below:

CAB will not:

Take any action that limits CAB’s ability to advocate on behalf of our mission;

Advocate for any measure that does not promote and/or demonstrate current “best practices” for cleaner air.

CAB Policy on Funding

CAB will accept:

Donations or grants consistent with fulfilling its mission: to monitor air quality, to educate the public on air quality, and to implement measures to alleviate poor air quality.

CAB will not accept:

Donations or grants conditioned on support of specific products or project development proposals
